Traffic is denser, pedestrians are more frequent, and you need to manage tighter spaces, angle parking, and give-way decisions in quick succession. These are the kinds of everyday driving situations that many learners find tricky at first but quickly get comfortable with when they are introduced at the right time. Our instructor uses these areas once your foundational skills are solid, so the step up in complexity feels manageable rather than stressful.
Beyond the local streets, Glenroy connects to several arterial roads that carry a significant volume of traffic. These roads feature multiple lanes, traffic lights, right-turn phases, and stretches where you need to maintain a consistent speed and hold your lane with traffic on both sides. Every lesson with EzyPass is tailored to your current ability. We do not follow a rigid script. If you need more time on a particular skill, we spend it. If you are progressing quickly, we move on. All lessons are in an automatic dual-control car, and our instructor, who holds an instructor-trainer qualification, picks you up from wherever is most convenient in Glenroy or nearby.
Your nearest VicRoads test centre is the Broadmeadows centre, which is a short drive north from Glenroy. Because it is so close, we routinely include the roads around the test centre in your lessons, so the environment is familiar well before test day. EzyPass also offers mock tests that replicate the full VicRoads assessment, giving you a clear picture of your readiness and specific feedback on anything that needs more attention.
We start every new learner on quiet residential streets where you can focus on the basics: steering, braking, indicating, and checking mirrors. Once those skills feel natural, we gradually introduce busier roads with more traffic, lane changes, and complex intersections. Glenroy is ideal for this because the transition from quiet back streets to arterial roads happens within a short distance, so you can build confidence step by step within a single lesson.
The Broadmeadows VicRoads test centre is a short drive north from Glenroy. We include drives to and around the test centre area as part of your lesson program, so the route and the roads nearby become familiar. On your test day, we pick you up and drive you to the centre so you arrive calm and ready.
We offer lessons seven days a week from early morning to early evening. You can book individual lessons or a package and schedule them at whatever pace suits you, whether that is once a week, twice a week, or more intensively in the lead-up to your test. We are happy to work around school, uni, or work timetables.
